The Deep River Ancient Muster is an event that is backed by the Deep River Drum Corps. However, the event is put on and hosted by a small group of volunteers that work together all year. The Deep River Muster committee starts their first planning meeting a the month after the Muster, and continues to meet monthly until the week before the event. On top of the monthly meetings there are many hours of behind the scenes work that each member does. Every member on this committee volunteers their time  to help ensure that the muster runs smoothly so that all attending corps can enjoy the event.
